("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing this platform, creating a shopping account, or initiating a purchase, you agree to be legally bound by these terms. We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at our sole discretion to reflect operational adjustments; continued interaction with the store constitutes acceptance of those changes.

2. User Eligibility & Shopping Account Security

To purchase items or establish a customer profile on this Site, you must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction. If you are under the age of legal majority (a minor), you may only browse this Site and execute transactions with the explicit involvement, supervision, and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf.

If you choose to create a secure shopping profile to track your orders, you assume full responsibility for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete details during checkout. We reserve the explicit right to refuse service, cancel orders, or terminate shopping accounts that exhibit fraudulent, deceptive, or unauthorized purchasing patterns.

3. Order Offer, Acceptance, & Inventory Availability

The presentation of apparal pieces on our Site does not constitute a legally binding offer to sell; rather, it is an invitation for you to submit an offer to purchase. A transaction is only deemed accepted by 1 People once your order has been physically verified, packed, and dispatched from our fulfillment center. Automated order confirmation emails do not signify final acceptance.

Because we maintain strict small-batch production lines to eliminate overproduction waste, product availability is never guaranteed. If a piece becomes unavailable during order processing, we will notify you immediately and reverse any financial authorization holds.

4. Pricing, Sales Tax, & International Customs Obligations

We make every reasonable effort to display accurate pricing, textile attributes, and garment dimensions across our platform. However, typographical errors may occur. In the event of a clear pricing discrepancy, we reserve the right to decline or cancel any transactions submitted under the incorrect metric, regardless of order status.

• Domestic Orders (United States): Applicable regional state sales taxes are calculated and finalized at the absolute time of shipment based on your delivery address.

• International Orders (Outside the United States): All international shipments are dispatched DAP (Delivered at Place). The retail price displayed at checkout explicitly excludes foreign value-added taxes (VAT), import tariffs, customs brokerage fees, or consumption taxes levied by your destination country.

• Legal Acknowledgment of International Buyers: By finalizing an international purchase, you explicitly acknowledge and agree that you are acting as the sole importer of record. You assume full legal and financial responsibility for clearing the package through local customs and paying all applicable regional duties and import taxes directly to the carrier or customs authority upon delivery.

If you refuse an international delivery due to customs fees, and the package is consequently abandoned by the carrier or returned to our US fulfillment center, 1 People Inc. reserves the absolute right to deduct all accrued return shipping fees, carrier storage penalties, and customs disposal costs directly from any potential store credit or refund.

5. Intellectual Property

All proprietary content hosted across our e-commerce store, including text, structural designs, garment patterns, photography, visual assets, trade dress, and trademarks, is the exclusive intellectual property of 1 People and is fully protected by United States and international copyright laws. Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, modification, or commercial exploitation of our textile or brand designs is strictly prohibited.

6. Indemnification & Limitation of Liability

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless 1 People Inc., its executives, directors, and fulfillment partners against any legal claims, losses, damages, or operational expenses resulting from your misuse of the platform, violation of these Terms, or unauthorized use of the garments.

Our e-commerce site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" operational basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, 1 People restricts its maximum structural liability to the exact dollar amount paid by you for the specific physical product in dispute.

7. Assumption of Risk & Intended Use of Apparel

By purchasing and utilizing our apparal pieces, you explicitly acknowledge that garments are intended solely for standard personal wear. You recognize that dressing and undressing (including the physical acts of putting on, adjusting, or removing clothing, closures, zippers, and buttons) involve inherent, routine physical movements.

To the maximum extent permitted by United States law, you assume all risks associated with the ordinary use of our products. 1 People Inc. shall not be held liable for any incidental, minor, or cosmetic physical injuries - including but not limited to scratches, abrasions, pinches, or personal discomfort - sustained during the ordinary course of wearing, trying on, or removing our apparel. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that garments are handled and worn with appropriate personal care.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution Venue

Since 1 People Inc is registered in Delaware and maintains its principal operational headquarters in Charleston, South Carolina, these Terms of Service, your use of the e-commerce Site, and any potential legal claims or product liability actions arising from your apparal purchase shall be governed strictly by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Mandatory Forum Selection: You explicitly agree that any legal action, mediation, arbitration, or court proceeding of any kind arising directly or indirectly out of your interaction with this Site or our products must be filed exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Charleston County, South Carolina. You hereby irrevocably consent and submit to the exclusive personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts located within South Carolina for the adjudication of any such claims.
